God. There is one God and creator of all the universe. God was, is, and always will be in the world. God lives and exists co-equally within the Trinity (three Persons): God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ. There is one God and creator of all the universe. God exists co-equally in God the Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is perfect theology. To know and see Jesus Christ is to know and see God. The way of Jesus Christ is the way of God.

Holy Spirit. There is one God and creator of all the universe. God exists co-equally in God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to God’s creation. The Holy Spirit exists and dwells within each of the members of God’s family. The Holy Spirit guides, admonishes, and transforms each into the image of the Son. While we are not perfect, the Holy Spirit actively works in each to become more like Christ.

Church. The church is the community of God’s people. It is a place where many become one. A place where we find unity within our diversity because of the power of Christ’s spirit within us. The church is considered the “body of Christ” in the world. We come together to worship, to rejoice, to bear one another’s struggles, and to live out God’s mission to creation.

Bible. The Bible is God’s written Word to God’s creation. We believe God, through the Holy Spirit, inspired others to write down the ways of God. It is the story of creation and God’s relationship with God’s creation. It tells us who we are in the story of God and how much we are loved by God. It is our authority for living and being in the world.

Baptism. Baptism is an announcement to the world of where our allegiance lies. Baptism is our way of living into the story of Jesus through his death, burial, and resurrection. It is our identity in Jesus and where we find life, hope, and forgiveness.

Gospel. “Gospel” is another word for good news. We believe the story of Jesus – Jesus’ birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection – is the story of God’s good coming kingdom into the world. We desire for all to hear and be a part of the coming good news of Jesus.
